I'm a digital designer living in Canada.
In my work I tend to focus on user interface & icon design. I believe that good icons should be simple, geometric & free from extraneous detail (especially when they are small). If an icon is meaningful and well-crafted, it need not be frequently redesigned.
As a proponent of Linux & free software and a believer of open source development, my design toolkit is comprised mostly of free & open source software (FOSS), primarily Inkscape and the GIMP. To give back to the FOSS community, I've been a contributor to many free software projects over the years, elementary, GNOME, Solus and Ubuntu to name a few.
Aside from my passion for design, I'm an avid lover of food and cooking–I maintain a cooking website dedicated to my endeavours in the kitchen. I also have a keen interest in photography.
I welcome the opportunity to design icons or collaborate on icon sets, or work on a web or interface design project (or any other projects). Don't hesitate to get in touch regarding freelance opportunities.Contact
